In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |

بنام خدا؛ هستی بخش مهربان |
|
|
Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High. |
1 |
بلند مرتبه نام پروردگارت را تسبیح کن |
*
|
|
Who creates [every thing], then forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, |
2 |
آنکه بیافریند و مرتب و هم آهنگ کند |
|
|
and who determines the nature [of all that exists], and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment], |
3 |
و (هر چیز را) قدر و اندازه ای دهد و رهنمون گردد |
|
|
And Who brings out the herbage, |
4 |
و گیاه سبز را از زمین بیرون آورد |
|
|
and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! |
5 |
سپس خشک و سیاهش کند |
|
|
We will teach you, then you wont forget , |
6 |
ما ترا بزودی خوانا(قادر بخواندن) میکنیم سپس فراموش نخواهی کرد |
|
|
except what God may will [you to forget], indeed He knows all that is manifest as well as all that is hidden. |
7 |
مگر آنچه را خدا بخواهد ، همانا او میداند آشكار را و آنچه پنهان است |
|
|
We will direct you to the easiest path. |
8 |
و بر تو آسان نماییم براه آسانتر(رفتن را)ج
|
|
|
Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). |
9 |
پس پی در پی پند و تذکر بده اگر سودمند افتد |
|
|
He who fears(God) will mind . |
10 |
بزودی آنکه اندیشناک باشد پند پذیرد |
|
|
But the wicked will avoid it. |
11 |
و آنکه نگون بخت باشد دوری گزیند |
|
|
He who will enter the Great Fire. |
12 |
همانکه در آتشی بزرگ اندر است |
|
|
Wherein he never dies, nor stays alive. |
13 |
سپس در آن آتش نه مىميرد و نه زنده مىشود |

|
But those will prosper who purify themselves . |
14 |
همانا آنکس که پاکی و تزکیه پیشه کرد رستگار شد |
|
|
By remembering the name of his Lord and observing the contact prayers(Salat). |
15 |
و آنکس که نام پروردگارش را بیاد آورده سپس نماز گزارد |
|
|
Nay, you prefer the life of this world , |
16 |
ولى شما زندگى دنيا را مقدم مىداريد |
|
|
But the Hereafter is far better and everlasting. |
17 |
در حالى كه آخرت بهتر و پايدارتر است |
|
|
Surely, this is in the earlier scriptures , |
18 |
اين دستورها در كتب آسمانى پيشين (نيز) آمده است |
|
|
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. |
19 |
در كتب ابراهيم و موسى |
