In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |

بنام خدا؛ هستی بخش مهربان |

|
By the sky and its galaxies, |
1 |
سوگند به آسمان و کهکشان هایش |
*
|
|
and the promised Day, |
2 |
و روز نوید داده شده |
|
|
and the witness and the witnessed! |
3 |
روز گواهی دهنده و گواهی شده |
|
|
Destroyed themselves, those who get ready a pit- |
4 |
نابود شوند آنها که گودالی |
|
|
of fire fiercely burning [for faithful people]. (*) |
5 |
از آتشی شعله ور مهیا کرده (برای مؤمنین)ا |
|
|
while sitting around it, |
6 |
آنگاه در كنار آن نشسته |
|
|
witnessing what they do against the believers (i.e. burning them). |
7 |
آنچه را با مؤمنان میکنند (سوزاندن آنها را) شاهد هستند |
|
|
They take revenge on them for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy. |
8 |
آنها از مؤمنان انتقام میگیرند فقط برای اينكه آنها به خداوند عزيز و حميد ايمان آورده اند |
|
|
Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and God witnesses all things. |
9 |
خداوندی كه برای اواست ملک آسمانها و زمين و او بر همه چيز گواه است |
|
|
Surely, those who persecute the believing men and women, then fail to repent, they will have the torment of Hell, and the punishment of the burning Fire. |
10 |
كسانى كه مردان و زنان باايمان را شكنجه دهند و سپس توبه نكنند، براى آنها عذاب دوزخ و عذاب آتش سوزان است |

Surely, those who believe and lead a righteous life, deserve gardens with flowing streams. That is the greatest triumph. |
11 |
و براى كسانى كه ايمان آورده و اعمال شايسته انجام دهند، باغهايى از بهشت است كه نهرها زير درختانش جارى است; اينست رستگاری و پيروزى بزرگ |

|
Indeed, your Lord's grip (punishment) is severe. |
12 |
همانا ناگهان گیری پروردگار تو بس سخت است |
|
|
Surely,He is the One who originates, then reproduces . |
13 |
اوست كه آفرينش را آغاز مىكند و بازمىگرداند |
|
|
And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness . |
14 |
و او بس آمرزنده و دوست یاب است |
|
|
Owner of the throne, the Glorious . |
15 |
صاحب عرش باشکوه |
|
|
Doer of whatever He wills. |
16 |
انجام میدهد آنچه را مىخواهد |
|
|
Has the story reached you of the Forces? |
17 |
آيا داستان لشكرها به تو رسيده است |
|
|
Of Pharaoh and Thamoud? |
18 |
لشكريان فرعون و ثمود |
|
|
Those who disbelieve (live) in denial. |
19 |
بلى آنها که رو بکفر رفته اند در تكذيب بسر میبرند |
|
|
And God encompasses them on every side. |
20 |
و خداوند به همه آنها احاطه دارد |

|
Indeed, it is a glorious Quran. |
21 |
آری این قرآنی است باشکوه |
|
|
In a well-guarded imperishable tablet. |
22 |
در لوحی محفوظ |
