بنام خدا؛ هستی بخش مهربان |

Those who disbelieved among the people of the scripture, as well as the idol worshipers, (insist on their ways,)even though the clear proof came to them. |

چنین نیست که اهل کتاب و بت پرستان که کافر شدند {از سوی خدا} منفک و رها شده باشند تا اینکه برایشان بیاید دلیلی روشن |

An messenger from God, reciting purified pages (scripture), |

فرستاده ای از سوی خدا که همی خواند نامه های پاک و مطهری را |

|
Wherein are all the ordinances of ever-true soundness and clarity. |
3 |
در آن باشد نوشتار هایی روشن و پایدار |
|
|
And the people of the Scripture did not differ until after there came to them clear evidence. |
4 |
اهل كتاب پراکنده نشدند مگر پس از آنكه دليل روشن بر آنان آمد |

|
All that was asked of them was to worship God, sincere in their faith in Him alone, turning away from all that is false,observe the contact prayers (Salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat). That is the right religion. |

به آنها دستورى داده نشده بود جز اينكه خدا را بپرستند ، آیین را براى او پاک و بی آلایش كنند (حنیف)و از شرك به توحيد بازگردند، نماز را برپا دارند و زكات را بپردازند; که اين است آيين استوار و پايدار |

Surely,those who disbelieve among the people of the scripture, and the idol worshipers, have incurred the Hell-Fire forever. They are the worst of all creatures. |

كافران از اهل كتاب و مشركان در آتش دوزخند، جاودانه در آن مىمانند; آنها بدترين مخلوقاتند |

Surely, those who have faith and do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. |
7 |
همانا کسانى كه ايمان آوردند و اعمال صالح انجام دادند، بهترين مخلوقات (خدا)يند |
|
|
Their reward at their Lord is the gardens of Eden with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. God is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. Such is the reward for those who reverence their Lord. |

پاداش آنها نزد پروردگارشان باغهاى بهشت جاويدان است كه نهرها از زير درختانش جارى است; هميشه در آن مىمانند, خدا از آنها خشنود و آنها از خدا خشنودند و اين براى كسى است كه از پروردگارش نگران باشد |
