Read, in the name of your Lord, who created. |

بخوان بنام پروردگارت که میآفریند |

|
created man from an embryo. |

میافریند انسان را از علق(لخته معلق=رویان ویا علق همریشه با علاقه = عشق و محبت).ع |
|
|
Read -for your Lord is the Most Bountiful One. |
3 |
بخوان چون پروردگارت بسیارکریم و بخشنده است |
|
|
Who has taught [man] by means of the pen. |
4 |
همانکه با قلم همی آموزد |
|
|
Teaches man what he never knew. |
5 |
آموزد به آدمی آنچه را نمیداند |
|
|
Nay,indeed, the human transgresses, |
6 |
نه ، همانا آدمی طغیان و سرکشی میکند |
|
|
whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient. |
7 |
آنگاه که خود را بی نیاز بنگرد |
|
|
Behold, to your Lord is the ultimate return. |
8 |
بهوش باش ، همانا برگشت، بسوی پروردگار تواست |

|
Did you see/understand who tries to prevent, |
9 |
آیا دیده ای آنکس که باز میدارد |
|
|
A worshipper when he prayed ? |
10 |
بنده ایرا از عبادت ونماز گزاردن؟ |
|
|
Have you considered whether he is on the right way,? |
11 |
آیا تصور کرده ای که وی براه هدایت است؟ |
|
|
Or is concerned with God-consciousness? |
12 |
یا به پارسایی سفارش میکند؟
|
|
|
Have you considered whether he lies and turns away (from truth)? |
13 |
آیا تصور کرده ای که وی دروغ میگوید و (از حقیقت)روی گردان است؟ |
|
|
Does he not realize that God sees? |
14 |
آیا نمیداند که خدا می بیند؟ |

|
Nay, unless he refrains, we will take him by the forelock. |
15 |
نه ، اگر باز نایستد ، اورا با کاکلش فرومیکشانیم |
|
|
The lying, sinful forelock . |
16 |
همان کاکل دروغگوی لغزشکار را |
|
|
Then let him call upon his council(of helpers). |
17 |
پس اوانجمن خود را (بکمک) بخواند |
|
|
And we will soon call the guards of Hell. |
18 |
وما بزودی نگهبانان دوزخ را فرا میخوانیم |
|
|
Nay,you shall not obey him; you shall fall prostrate and draw closer to me. |
19 |
نه ؛ پروای او ننما ، بخاک بیفت(مرا سجده کن) و (بمن)نزدیک شو |
