In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |

بنام خدا؛ هستی بخش مهربان |

By the bright morning hours, |
1 |
سوگند بهنگامی که روز برآید |
|
|
And by the night as it grows dark and still, (*) |
2 |
و شب هنگام که تاریکیش همه را فراگیرد |
|
|
Your Lord neither abandoned you, nor did He scorn you. |
3 |
که نه پروردگارت ترا رهاکرده و نه تحقیر نموده |
|
|
And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life). |
4 |
همانا برای تو جهان دیگر(آخرت) بهتر از اولی(دنیا) است |
|
|
And soon your Lord will grant you enough; that you will be pleased. |
5 |
و بزودى پروردگارت آنچنان به تو عطا كند كه خشنود شوى |
|
|
Did He not find you orphaned and He gave you a shelter? |
6 |
آیا او تو را يتيم نيافت و پناه داد؟ |
|
|
And find you misguided and He guided you? |
7 |
و گمراهت یافت پس رهنمائیت نمود |
|
|
And find you destitute and He enriched you? |
8 |
و عیالمند نادارت یافت پس بی نیازت کرد |
|
|
Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, |
9 |
پس یتیم را زبون و زیردست منما |
|
|
Nor repulse one who is requesting. |
10 |
ودرخواست کننده (کمک) را از خود مران |
|
|
And as for Lord's blessings, do announce it . |
11 |
و نعمتهاى پروردگارت را بازگو كن |
|
